It is correctly said if you are going to start something new you should have information about it. The line is very much true in my case as I have faced something terrible due to lack of knowledge. Before starting anything or planning to do something one should research about it. Even a minor detail if missed out can create a problem for you. I am sharing all this here because I don’t want you guys to face the same.
I am a student who has recently appeared in the WBJEE exam. The reason to appear in the exam was only my father as he wants me to be an Engineer. I was not that much serious about the exam and prepared just to get passing marks. I applied for the exam, downloaded the admit card and appeared to take the exam. While attempting the paper I marked the answers which I knew and then tried to think about the ones whose answers were not known by me. When there were only 30 minutes left for the exam I checked the number of questions left unattempted. There were around 23 questions and I was not confirmed about their answers. So like the most students do in the exam I started to mark them by hit and trial method.

Till my exam was over, I had no idea about the marking scheme. I told my father that my exam was good as he has great expectations from me. At evening when I met one of my friend who has also appeared for the same exam we talked about how our exams went. I told him that I used the hit and trial method for the questions I didn’t know about. He was amazed to hear me and asked me whether I checked the WBJEE Exam Pattern 2020 before appearing in the exam. I replied no and told him that I just went for the exam. After knowing that, he told me that you should have left the questions whose answers were unknown to you as for every incorrect answer there will be a negative marking of ¼ marks.
On hearing this, I was left in a shocking state several questions surrounded my mind. I was frightened if I would be able to qualify the exam or not and what would my father do if I got failed. I was curiously waiting for the result and at the same time, I was scared and prayed to God to please help me pass the exam. On the result declaration day, my father sat with me to check the result. I can’t even describe the feeling I had at that very moment. Things were running in mind. However, when I logged in to check the result it displayed qualified. I don’t know how this happened but the smile on my dad’s face was comforting to me. He hugged me and gave me blessings and told mom to cook something that I like.
I got a call from the same friend. He told me that he passed the exam and I told him about my result. He laughed at me and congratulated me. I still don’t how this was possible but I thank god for listening to my prayer. So guys please don’t take anything for granted be serious for whatever you do. In my case the outcome was positive but what if I got failed. It is good to have full information on the things you want to do. Therefore, my advice to you all is to please check every single detail in advance so that you don’t experience what I did. Now I am waiting for the releasing date of the cutoff list which will be the next step towards my admission.

Performance highlights the effort you made to achieve your aim. This line is very much true as I too have experienced something in my life that changed my way of thinking. Let me share you my story with all of you guys. I am a student who has appeared in the Aligarh University Entrance Exam a few days back. I was to get admission in Engineering course so I sat in the exam but my paper went okay. It was not as per my expectation and the effort I had put to score high marks. I was really worried about the outcome and several questions were revolving around my mind such as will I be able to qualify the exam, can I make it to the university, etc. As the day passed by I became more tensed about the result. However, the result date was still far.

When my problem increased, I shared it with my parents and friends. They told me to stay calm and think positive. They were motivating me and telling me not to get disheartened as there will be more chances for me in the future. They also suggested me to apply for some other exams too. But I told everyone that AMU is my dream college and I want to pursue my graduation from there only. The University is accredited with a status of Institute of National Importance. It invites students from different corners of the country and also from outside India especially from Africa, West Asia, and Southeast Asia. And I too desire to be a part of this University
Day by day my curiosity and excitement were raising to a great extent. Then one of my friends who also appeared for the same exam told me that the university has released AMU Answer Key. Also, he told me that with the help of it I can calculate my score. As soon as I got to know about this, I switched on my laptop and downloaded the key. Using it, I cross-checked my answers and estimated my marks. I came to know that my score was not that bad. After this calculation, I checked the last year cutoff in order to know if I was eligible for admission in the university or not. Half of my tensions were gone away. I told my parents about it and they were as happy as I was. They asked me not to worry anymore and that they trust me and on my preparation for the exam.
On the result announcement day, I checked my result and it was displaying qualified. I was on cloud 9 as I cleared the exam and thinking of getting admitted to the university. Now I am preparing for further formalities. There will be counselling which I have to attend and during this process, I will be allotted a seat in the university. Soon I am going to be a student of AMU. Do you guys also have a dream college? Have you started preparing for it? It’s a pleasure when you aim for something and you get it. I hope the same for all of you. All the very best.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.
Why do this?
The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.
To help you get started, here are a few questions:
You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.
Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.
When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
